Training course in improving “Data analysis skill in reseach ”
In the morning of 12th August 2014, faculty of Finance and Banking of UEB – VNU, held the opening ceremony for the course “Data analysis skill in research” for lecturers in the faculty. Attending the course were Dr. Le Trung Thanh – Associate Dean on duty of the faculty of Finance and Banking, Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu - Associate Dean of the faculty of Finance and Banking, Dr. Tran Quang Tuyen - Associate Dean of the faculty of Political Economics with many lecturers in the university.
In the purpose of enhancing building-plan ability, improving data analysis skills, fluently calculating basic statistic index, extracting, presenting and explaining statistic result for lecturers, faculty of Finance and Banking invited one of the top expert of CPF center to present in this course.
Under the guideline of MA. Do Thi Minh Thuy, a lecturer from National Economics University, the course took place in an exciting atmostphere, in which, learners can portionally approach the basic skills in dealing, analysing the investing datas, along with extracting and developing VHLSS data pack and basically use STATA 12 in quantitative research. The course not only brought to learners the basic theory, but also had the interaction between students and teachers, between students and students through many practical excercises. The course received lots of positive feedbacks from the learners. Holding courses, scientific seminar is one of the priority of the faculty of Finance and Banking and of UEB in the upcoming time in order to enhance research quality.
