Leaders of Fulculty discussed with representative of California State University, Long Beach
In the program of cooperation between University of Economics and Business – VNU and California State University, Long Beach, U.S.A, on October 8th, 2013, leaders of the Banking&Finance Falculty and representative of the Long Beach had a discussion about education program at CSULB.
Attending the discussion were Mr.Sean Cochran, representative of CSULB and deputy director of the American Language Institute (CSULB), and Dr. Le Trung Thanh, associate dean of the Banking&Finance Falculty , one of partners of CSULB in the cooperation of education project for Professional Master of Management of Financial Institutions, and all staffs, lecturers, students of Advanced Education Program of the faculty , students of Business Administrationfaculty.
At the beginning of the discussion, Dr. Le Trung Thanh briefly presented a project plan named “Scheme of Professional Master of Financial Institutions Management” expecting to be approved by Vietnam National Universuty in the late of 2013. Afterthat, Mr. SeanCochran talked about some information on education program in CSULB, especially, the information about language education course which is very helpful to students before they attend MBA course at CSULB. This is a part that students extremely excited to take part in with many interesting questions. Many students were really interested in friendly international educating environment in CSULB where many international students come to study and do research.

Mr. Sean Cochran was very friendly to save many UEB students’ contact to answer all students’ question conventiently.
The discussion took place in opening and effective atpmosphere. Next time, the faculty of Finance and Banking will continue to organise diversity of activities to develop the signed cooperating agreement between UEB – VNU and CSULB, USA.
