Student Finance 2014 (SV Tài chính 2014) - new playground for students of University of Economics and Business
Known to be an intellectual contest in which students of Faculty of Finance and Banking in particular and students of University of Economics and Business (UEB – VNU) in general can show their talents, humor and wisdom, Student Finance was held twice. To continue the success of the two previous programs, "Student Finance 2014" with the theme "Income" is back with more exciting and attractive innovations.
The program will connect students of UEB - VNU to communicate, to share, to learn and to develop after the intense final exams; in the purpose of promotion and quality improvement of teaching and learning activities that provide knowledge can be applied to reality, increase analyzing and data synthetic abilities and develop soft skills such as teamwork, leading skills.
I. Participants:
Students of University of Economics and Business – VNU
II. Registration:
- Build a team of 5 members from the same Faculty.
- Send a list including name, email, phone number and original class of every members and leader.
- Registration time: 20th January, 2014 – 13th February, 2014
III. Contest regulation:
1. Qualifying round:
All registered teams has to do a multiple choice consist of 25 questions (IQ, EQ, social knowledge, sports, economics,…) to choose 10 teams that has highest score to be advanced to second round.
2. “Challenge” Round:
- 10 teams have to participate in a challenge that is making profit with an initial capital of 200,000 VND.
- Besides, there is an extra section in which each team will make an introduction clip. 5 teams with the highest score in the “Challenge” round will go to the final round.
3. Final round
- Part 1: “Student’s introduction”: Each team has to introduce and show off their talents – free styles.
- Part 2: “Confrontation”: Every team will question each other respectively in circle about some situations, subjects, paintings, or some actions in the theme of “Income”.
- Part 3: “Wise Student”: Only most 3 excellent teams will have to answer some available questions of the program.
IV. Time and place:
The qualifying round:
- Time: 18th February, 2014.
- Place: at Vietnam – Australia campus of the university of economics.
“Challenge” round:
- Time: 2nd March, 2014.
- Place: Each team can choose any place in Hanoi.
Final round:
- Time: 13th March, 2014.
- Place: Students Hall of ULIS dormitory
V. Prizes
- 1st place: 4,000,000 VND and 5 scholarship of 60% of tuition in a IELTS course which commit the score of 6.5 in IELTS test.
- 2nd place: 2,000,000 VND and 5 scholarship of 30% of tuition in a IELTS course which commit the score of 6.5 in IELTS test.
- 3rd place: 1,000,000 VND
- Two “Encouragement” prize: 500,000 VND
“The most favorite clip” prize: 300,000 VND (which will be scored by the number of “like” in website http://sukien.tamtay.vn )
